보건의료부문의 미래는 정보통신기술과 밀접한 관련성을 가진다. 모바일 헬스를 비롯한 건강정보기술의 발전은 다양한 방법으로 보건의료부문의 문제해결에 도움이 되 고 있 다 . 무엇보다 보건의료비용 상 승 억 제 , 보건의료의 접근성 향 상 , 그리고 모 든 국민에게 양질의 적 정 보건의료서비스 의 보장이라는 국가의 미래지향적 보건의료 개혁방향에서 모바일헬스와 건 강 빅데이터는 획기적 인 원동력이 될 것이다. 이 논문은 광범위한 부문에서 보건의료의 높 은 생산성과 효율성을 뒷받침할 것으로 전망되는 모바일헬스와 건 강 빅데이터의 가치에 대하여 공공보건학적 의 미 분석을 시도하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 인터넷 기반 빅데이터와 모바일 헬스의 컨셉을 논의하고, 관련연구 및 활용영역과 관련 서비스산업 트랜드를 조망하였다. 아울러, 미국과 한국의 mHealth 및Health IT 정책 방향을 살펴보고 향후 정책적 과제에 기반 하여 공공보건을 위한 데이터 기술과정부의 보건의료 정보화 전 략 방향을 제안하였다.
Abstract
Future healthcare is strong link with information and communication technologies. Recently, Health Information Technologies (Health IT) improvements including mobile health (mHealth), providing accurate and timely health information, play a vital role on novel health and healthcare solution in a variety of ways. mHealth and health big data are helping to improve access, reduce costs, and increase the quality in healthcare services. This paper discusses the concept of mHealth and health big data with an analysis of their values in public sector, and some of the existing activities and future opportunities related to mHealth and big data for healthcare services. In addition, this paper offers lessons learned and future directions for policy and strategy needed to implement emerging mhealth and health big data.
