Abstract
When a bio-health company wants to promote external open innovation, appropriate cooperation management according to the type of external cooperation partner was analyzed through 'Inside-out open innovation → cooperation management (control vs. mutual adjustment) → new product performance relationship'. In addition, the moderating effect according to the type of external partner (inside of the industry vs. outside of the industry) was investigated. As a result, the following results were derived. First, it was found that in-side out open innovation of bio-health companies had a positive effect on both mutual coordination and control-based cooperation management. Second, control-based coordination management was found to have a positive effect on the performance of new products. Third, as a result of analyzing the moderating effect of cooperation partners (inside of the industry vs. outside of the industry), When bio-health companies engage inside-out open innovation, it was found that it is effective to conduct control-based cooperation management with partners outside the industry.
