Abstract

The purpose of this study is to emphasize the importance of safety awareness and response ability for government officials in government agencies by analyzing the ability of court security management officials to respond to emergency situations resulting from safety training and the relationship between that ability. As a model for this study, the independent variable was set as a single variable for safety education, and the dependent variable was set as the concept of emergency procedures and first aid. As a result of the analysis, safety consciousness had a somewhat high correlation of .452 with first aid ability, a low correlation of .057 with first aid ability, and a low correlation of .341 with first aid ability. The ability to explain emergency procedures was 19.9% (R2=.199), and Durbin-Watson was 1.706, which was suitable for a regression model because there was no correlation between the residuals. Specifically, it was found that the emergency procedure (β=.452, t=6.159) had a significant effect. As a result, the ability to explain first aid was 1.8% (R2=.018), and Durbin-Watson was 1.420, which was suitable for the regression model because there was no correlation between the residuals. Specifically, it was found that emergency procedures (β=-.157, t=-1.934) had a significant effect. Therefore, it can be said that safety education for public officials in court security management is an essential requirement to enhance the expertise and capabilities of security work.
