초록

본 연구는 낙관성이 진로결정 수준에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 낙관성이 진로결정수준에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 사회적 지지와 진로결정 자기효능감의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 이를위하여 대구․경북에 소재한 4년제 대학교에서 대학생 340명에게 설문조사를 실시하였다. 통계분석은 spss 23을 이용하였으며 수집된 자료의 기초분석과 상관분석, 매개효과 검증을위해서 Baron 과 Kenny(1986)가 제시한 3단계 매개효과 검증을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 변인들 간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 각 변인과 진로결정수준은 모두 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 매개효과 검증에서 사회적지지(부모님, 친구)는 유의하지 않았으며, 진로결정 자기효능감은 매개효과가 유의한 것으로나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 낙관성과 진로결정 수준의 관계에서 진로결정 자기효능감이 갖는 유의미한 매개효과를 확인할 수 있었으며, 코칭장면에서 진로결정 수준을 높이기 위해 진로결정 자기효능감을 증진 시켜줄 수 있는 방법에 대한 필요성을 제언하였다

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between optimism and the level of career decision, and the mediating effects of social support and career decision-making self efficacy on the relationship between optimism and the level of career decision. A total of 340 college students participated in this study. Basic data was analyzed by SPSS 23, and mediating effects was analyzed by following 3 steps of Baron and Kenny (1986). The results showed as follows. First, there were significant positive relationships between all predictor variables and the level of career decision. Second, the results did not support the hypothesis that social support would mediate the relationship between optimism and the level of career decision. On the other hand, the results support the hypothesis that career decision-making self efficacy would mediate the relationship between them. This study suggest that career decision-making self efficacy should be considered in career coaching situation for enhancing the level of career decision. Limitations of the present study and suggestions for future research were discussed.
