초록
This study examines a lightweight authentication protocol for Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) systems and finds flaws like replay attacks, static key leaks, biometric data exposure, and man-in-the-middle attacks. We suggest ephemeral key exchange, timestamp validation, secure biometric handling, and authenticated public key transmission as ways to improve security. Through these improvements, the protocol's resilience and efficiency will be strengthened, guaranteeing secure communication in healthcare settings with limited resources.
Abstract
This study examines a lightweight authentication protocol for Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) systems and finds flaws like replay attacks, static key leaks, biometric data exposure, and man-in-the-middle attacks. We suggest ephemeral key exchange, timestamp validation, secure biometric handling, and authenticated public key transmission as ways to improve security. Through these improvements, the protocol's resilience and efficiency will be strengthened, guaranteeing secure communication in healthcare settings with limited resources.
