목회자의 성적 탈선은 하나님의 부르심을 배반하고 그리스도의 몸된 교회 공동체를 더럽히는 일이다. 이는 곧 피해자의 존엄성과 정체성을 공격하는 “영적 폭행”이다. 이는 성도들의 마음에 깊은 상처를 입히고 그리스도의 복음의 가치를 떨어뜨린다. 따라서 그 어떤 사후 수습보다 목회자에 대한 사전 예방과 교육이 필수적이다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 특히 효과적인 신학 교육을 통해 목회자가 자기 자신을 성찰하고, 그 위험한 징후들을 피하도록 돕는 것이야말로 가장 효과적인 자원임을 다음과 같은 소주제들을 통해 밝힐 것이다. 첫째, 목회자의 성은 하나님의 선물이며, 건강한 자신의 한 부분임을 인정해야 한다. 지나치게 부정적인 태도는 억압을 일으키고, 지나치게 개방적인 태도는 혼란을 일으키지만, 결과는 동일하게 성적 탈선으로 이어지기 쉽다. 둘째, 목회자는 자신의 권위와 권력이 어떻게 행사되는가에 대한 통찰력이 있어야 한다. 상황의 해석은 곧 권력 구조에 대한 해석을 포함한다. 인간의 불법적인 성은 한 개인의 권력 행사와 밀접한 관련이 있기 때문이다. 셋째, 성적탈선의 예방을 위해 자신의 성적 감정과 같은 역전이 감정을 인식하고 실현을 방해해야 한다. 끝으로, 피해자들을 보호하고 그들의 고난에 의미를 주며, 가해자는 진실을 직면하도록 해야 한다.
Abstract
Pastor's sexual abuse brings about disastrous results in every way. It is a betrayal against the One who is calling him to his service and the congregation to which he is called for ministry. It is also a spiritual assault against the church member(s) by violating his or her dignity and autonomy of sexuality. Rather than healing the victim or accusing the perpetrator aftermath, therefore, the prevention of pastor's sexual abuse in advance is much more valuable and economical in saving the church's energy. First of all, pastors and seminarians must learn that sexuality is part of their life and ministry. The stronger their obsessions against sexuality for the sake of "sacred" ministry, the more chances they will get to act out the suppressed desires. Second, pastoral authority and power must be subject to their self-inspection in order to prevent abuse. The acknowledgement of pastoral power helps discern its dynamcs for or against the parishioner and protect her from the blind patriarchal power in the church. Third, pastoral leaders must monitor the countertransference that is unconsciously and deceptively happening within themselves. Last but not least, a new theological focus on the victim will result in revealing the truth and realizing justice.
