초록

이 연구는 중년여성의 우울감 해소를 위한 기독교상담 방안에 관한 것이다. 중년기는 인생의 가을에 해당하는 시기로서 이른바 ‘사추기’(思秋期)라고 할 수 있는데, 이는 청소년 시기의 사춘기에 준하는 급속한 변화와 발달로 인해 붙여진 이름이다. 이러한 시기적 특성 때문에 대부분의 가족치료학자들은 중년기 자체를, 그 중에서도 중년여성의 우울감은 큰 위기로 인식한다. 특별히 중년여성의 우울감은 남편 및 가족에게도 전이되어 쉽게 부정적 영향을 미치게 된다. 즉 중년여성의 우울감은 함께 사추기를 보내는 남편에게 직접적 영향을 주어 함께 우울감 및 불안감 등 다양한 심리정서적 위기를 야기함으로 부부관계를 악화시키고, 나아가 가족 전체의 분위기를 암울하게 만들 수 있는 것이다. 따라서 중년여성의 우울감 해소는 부부와 가정의 행복을 위해 반드시 해결되어야 될 과제가 되지 않을 수 없다. 이 연구는 문헌연구를 통해 중년여성에 대한 개념 이해와 중년여성의 우울감 원인들에 대한 다면적인 이해들, 즉 신체적, 사회문화적, 심리정서적, 가족치료적, 신앙적 이해들을 살펴보았다. 또한 중년여성의 우울감이 부부와 가정에 미치는 영향에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 중년여성의 우울감 해소를 위한 기독교상담 방안으로 진리의 자기 대화, 용서와 재구성, 자아존중감과 영적 성장을 제시한다.

Abstract

This is the study to solve mental depression in middle-aged women on Christian counseling. Mid-life can be called by the parable so called 'sachugi'(mid-life crisis)" as the meaning of time for the autumn of life. It is so named because the rapid changes and developments pursuant to youth development generally appear. Most of family therapy scholars agree to understand that mid-life itself and especially mental depression in middle-aged women are crisis. Especially mental depression in middle-aged women effects women themselves, even husbands and family so negatively. Mental depression in middle-aged women is able to directly effect husband of mid-life crisis(sachugi) to weaken the marital relationship and gloom home atmosphere by causing depression, anxiety and various psychological crises. Therefore mental depression in middle-aged women is the severe problem to be solved for happy home and especially marital relationship as soon as possible. Therefore, based on literary study, this thesis attempts to understand the concept and multi-dimensional causes of mental depression in middle-aged women: its physical, social, cultural, psychological, emotional, family therapeutic, and religious causes. Futhermore, this thesis also attempts to suggest Christian counseling methods to solve mental depression in middle-aged women by understanding its real impact on the marital relationship: self-dialogue of truth, forgiveness / recomposition, and self-respect / spiritual growth.
