아동학대 가족에 대한 이해와 치유: 가족 Game 속 “Life-story telling”을 활용한 가족치료적 접근법

한국의 아동학대는 주로 부모에 의해 자행되며 재학대가 일어난다. 본 연구에서는 대중매체를 통해 보도된 아동학대의 실상을 중심으로 아동학대 원인요인, 미치는 영향, 가족환경 등을 살펴보며, 아동학대의 치유와 예방책을 찾아보았다. 아동학대가 일어나는 가족은 삶의 스트레스가 높고, 부모 역시 폭력 속에서 양육되어 바른 부모상을 갖지 못했고, 자녀를 돌볼 시간과 관심과 경제적 여유가 없다. 생존과 생계유지에 급급하여, 감정표현 및 가족대화를 포함한 상호작용이 원활치 못하면서 가족원 서로의 형편과 처지에 대한 이해가 부족하고, 죄책감과 좌절감이 투사되며, 가족갈등이 심화되면서, 훈육이라는 이름으로 분노의 폭발이 일어나며 아동학대가 자행된다. 아동학대는 아동의 인격과 가치관 형성과 인간관계에 심각한 부정적 영향을 미친다. 이런 상황에, 가족을 병리학적으로 보지 않고, 한 개인만 문제 삼지 않으면서, 가족의 상호작용을 유기체의 혈액순환처럼 여기며 가족의 관계를 개선하려는 가족치료적 접근법을 사용하여, 가족구성원 간에 대화를 통한 이해를 촉진하고, 가족원이 분화를 이루어, 용납과 사랑받는 마음을 느껴 소속감을 증진하고 가족의 필요충족에 협조 및 헌신함으로써 아동학대를 예방하고, 가족이 행복을 추구할 수 있도록 가족원들이 게임을 통해 부담없이 자발적으로 각자의 처한 입장을 말할 수 있는 life-storytelling 방식을 도입하였다.
Abstract
Child maltreatment in Korea is occurred and repeated by parent. In this study the phenomena of child maltreatment is studied on the cases reported through news. The reasons and effects of domestic violence is examined and the treatment and prevention of it is searched. The circumstances of the violent family is characterized as highly stressful, lack of time and money for family wellbeing. Violent parents are raised under similar situations, as a result, they don't have proper role model of parent. They hardly managed to make living, make understanding for each other in the family because they have not enough chances of revealing their thinking and emotions. They easily burst into violent anger projecting their own frustrations, and maltreatments to their children in the name of disciplines. Child maltreatment negatively influence child in the process of personality formation, value system and human relationships. Here, the family systems therapy method that looks family not in pathological perspective, but focuses on enhancing their positive interactions to develop loving relationships, is introduced as a way to approach violent family. It cultivates mutual dedication and love and differentiation through enhancing efficient communication to understand each other by using family life-storytelling method through family game at the time of encounter with violent family.
