이동과학차 프로그램 분석을 통한 창의적 체험활동 활성화 방안

본 연구는 초등학교 학생들의 과학 흥미와 탐구 능력을 신장시키기 위해 실시되고 있는 이동과학차 프로그램 분석을 통해 학교 재량으로 실시할 수 있는 다양한 창의적 체험활동 운영 방안에 대한 연구이다. 이동과학차 프로그램은 주간에 이뤄지는 탐구 중심 과학체험 프로그램인 ‘이동과학교실’과 야간에 이루어지는 천체 관측 프로그램인 ‘별자리여행교실’로 이루어져 있다. 연구 목적 달성을 위해 이동과학차 프로그램에 참여한 교사 161명과 학생 1,684명의 의견을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 교사들은 과학 체험 프로그램의 필요성에 대해 공감하였으며, 학생들은 이동과학차 프로그램과 같은 지속적인 과학 체험을 희망하였다. 본 연구를 통해 학생들의 과학에 대한 흥미와 탐구력을 신장시킬 수 있는 다양한 과학 창의적 체험활동 프로그램이 개발되어지기를 바란다.
Abstract
This study is a research for various creative experience activities that can be executed at the discretion of the school through the analysis of ‘Mobile Science Car’ program. ‘Mobile Science Car’ is one of the most interesting programs that can enhance elementary students' scientific inquiry skills and interests. ‘Mobile Science Car’ is consist of inquiry-based science program ‘Mobile Science Class’ and astronomical observation program ‘Constellation Travel Class’. To achieve purpose of this study,we analyzed the survey of 1,684 students and 161 teachers who were participated in ‘Mobile Science Car’. As the results, we knew that teachers agree on the need for experience science programs, and students hope continuous scientific experiences like a ‘Mobile Science Car’. Through this study, we expect that various scientific creative programs that can be enhanced students' interests in science and a scientific inquiry will be developed.
