인류 사회를 덮친 COVID-19는 전 인류에게 큰 충격을 주었다. 코로나 19가 전 세계로 확산되면서, 수많은 인류가 다양한 측면에서 고통을 겪고 있다. 코로나 19로 인해 정치ﾷ사회ﾷ경제ﾷ교육이 마비되면서 인류의 생활은 급격한 변화를 맞고 있다. 또한 코로나 19로 인해 인한 글로컬(Glocal)이라는 단어가 무색해질 정도로, 세계가 폐쇄적인 사회로 급변하고 있다. 코로나 19의 세계적 대유행을 고려할 때 정부 및 개발 협력 부문은 국가와 국가 간의 상호협력과 조율을 통하여 의료대상자를 신속하게 치료해 나가야만 팬데믹의 영향을 최소화할 수 있을 것이다. 코로나 19의 영향은 아프리카 대륙의 정치ﾷ경제 분야를 비롯한 모든 분야에도 영향을 주고 있다. 정치적으로는 민주주의의 퇴보라는 우려스러운 상황이 연출되고 있으며, 경제적으로 실업자가 속출하고 있다. 특히 사회경제적 영향은 상당히 오랫동안 지속될가능성이 높다. 그러나 아프리카인들의 전염병에 대한 대응은 대부분은 자연치유적 믿음을 가진 종교문화에 기반하고 있으며, 이러한 문화적 관습에 의한 치유 방식은 급속도로 확산되는 코로나 19를 예방하고 치료하는 데 한계가 있다. 또한 아프리카에서는 코로나 19의 확산을 막는 것에 어려움을 겪고 있을 뿐 아니라, 백신을 구입하고 이를 국민들에게 접종하는 데에도 한계를 드러내고 있다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 전 세계, 특히 경제적 주도권을 가진 서구의 선진국들이 아프리카에 관심을 가지고 지원을 해야 할 필요가 있다. 본 글은 코로나 19 시대적 상황에서 아프리카 대륙의 정치와 경제, 교육 분야를 비롯한 다양한 분야의 동향을 고찰하고자 한다. 그간 국내외에서 문화와 종교, 정치와 경제ﾷ교육과 관련된 코로나 19 현상에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있지만, 본 글에서는 코로나 19 발생으로 인해 아프리카에서 일어나는 현상을 통해 아프리카 대륙의 미래적 측면을 고찰하고, 개신교 입장에서 아프리카를 위한 전략을 모색해 보았다. 코로나 19는 개신교에서도 새로운 전략적 모색을 필요하게 만들었다. 이 전략은 하나님이 인간에게 내려준 가장 큰 계명인 ‘서로 사랑하라’라는 계명을 실행할 때 병든 사회를 정화키고, 세상을 위한 복음을 전하는 사명을 완수할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
COVID-19 spreads in human society and it shocked us all. As COVID-19 spreads around the world, countless humans are suffering from various aspects. Human life is undergoing rapid changes as politics, society, economy and education are paralyzed by COVID-19. In addition the world is rapidly changing into a closed society so that the word (Glocal) becomes colorless due to COVID-19. Considering the global pandemic of COVID-19, the government and development cooperation sector will be able to minimize the damage of the pandemic only by promptly treating medical subjects through cooperation and coordination between countries and countries. The damage of COVID-19 is also affecting all sectors, including the political and economic sectors of the African continent. Politically there is a worrisome situation of democracy's regression and economically unemployed people are continuing. In particular the socio-economic damage is likely to last for a very long time. However the response of Africans to infectious dis-eases is mostly based on a religious culture with natural healing beliefs and the healing method based on these cultural practices has limitations in preventing and treating the rapidly spreading COVID-19. In addition, in Africa, not only is struggling to prevent the spread of COVID-19, but it is also showing limitations in purchasing a vaccine and inoculating it to the public. In order to solve this problem, it is necessary that the developed countries of the world especially the western countries with economic leadership pay attention to and support Africa. This article intends to examine status in various fields including politics, economy and education in the African continent in the context of the COVID-19 era. Until now studies on the COVID-19 phenomenon related to culture and religion, politics, economy and education have been conducted both at domestic and abroad. However, in this article, I examined the future aspects of the African continent through the phenomena occurring in Africa due to the COVID-19 damage and sought strategies for Africa from the standpoint of Protestants. COVID-19 has created a need for a new strategic search in Protestants as well. This strategy will be able to fulfill the mission of purifying a sick society and preaching the gospel for the world when we obey the commandment of “love one another,” the greatest commandment God gave to humans.
