본 연구는 KBS <개그콘서트>의 한 코너인 <아무 말 대잔치>에 나타난 유머를 부조화-해소 이론과 관련성 이론의 관점에서 분석한다. 이 코너는 부조화에서 해소까지 이르는 전개 속도가 매우 빠르며, 멀티모달 요소를 적극적으로 활용해 현대 숏폼 트렌드 요소를 잘 반영한다. 본고는 이 유머의 특징을 다음의 다섯 가지로 정리한다. 규칙으로서 비맥락성의 규범화, 강한 설정 장치를 통한 극도로 낮은 처리 노력, 공연자와 청자 간 인지 규칙의 공유, 구정보와 신정보의 상호작용을 통한 맥락 효과, 그리고 반복과 변주를 결합한 패턴 기반의 부조화가 그것이다. 이 연구는 기존 유머 이론을 짧은 형식의 코미디에 적용함으로써 전통적인 유머 원리가 현대 미디어 환경에서 어떻게 극단적으로 구현되고 새로운 방식으로 변형되는지를 보여준다.
Abstract
This study examines the humor of Amu Mal Daejanchi, a segment from KBS’s Gag Concert, through Incongruity-Resolution Theory and Relevance Theory. The analysis identifies five characteristics that define this high-density comedy format: normalization of non-contextuality as a rule, minimal processing effort via strong non-verbal setups, shared cognitive rules between performers and audiences, contextual effects through the interplay of old and new information, and pattern-based incongruity that balances repetition with variation. This study demonstrates how traditional humor principles are implemented in extreme and novel forms in short-form comedy, aligning with cognitive processing patterns favored in the compressed media era.
