인턴제 근로자의 노동시장 이행에 관한 연구-비정규직 근로형태로서의 인턴제를 중심으로

이 연구는 한국고용정보원의「대졸자 직업이동 경로조사:GOMS」를 이용하여 2006년도에 인턴사원을 경험한 사람이 다음 해(2007년)에 정규직 진입 확률과 임금효과를 다른 비정규직 근로형태를 가진 사람과 비교 분석을 하였다. 연구결과 인턴사원의 정규직 진입효과는 다른 비정규직 집단에 비해 17.1% 더 높게 나타나고 있으며 생애 첫 직장을 인턴사원으로 경험한 사람이 2006년에 정규직으로 그리고 2007년에도 정규직으로 생존할 확률은 남성은 70% 이상, 여성은 60～70%인 것으로 나타났다. 한편 정규직 진입 후 임금변화를 D-D 모형으로 분석한 결과 인턴 경험자는 다른 비정규직경험자에 비해 12.9% 정도 임금증가효과가 있는 것으로 나타난다. 특히 인턴근로를 공공부문(정부, 공사)에서 경험한 사람에 비해 민간 기업에서 경험한 사람일수록 정규직 진입과 임금에서 유리한 것으로 분석되었다. 또 인턴 경험은 남자의 경우 노동시장에서 전공-직무일치도가 높은 일자리를 찾아가는 데는 긍정적 영향을 주지만 ‘재직 중 구직탐색확률’을 낮추는 데는 매우 제한적으로만 효과가 있었다.
Abstract
This study exploited a regular job transition probability and wage effect in the 2007 between treatment (intern as non-regular worker in 2006 years) and control group (another non-regular workers in 2006) by using the GOMS panel data of KEIS. According to research results, the regular transition probability of treatment shows more 17.1% than control group. Those who have experienced work in the early years of life as intern worker have regular transition probability of 60%~70% from 2006 until 2007 year. Meanwhile, in the D-D analysis, it appeared 12.9% wage effect in the treatment group. The effect of intern has remarkable appeared in private sector than public sector in terms of the wage and regular transition probability. Finally, intern has given youth people a positive effect to finding the matching job with their major.
