수초를 이용한 폐수처리시설

Abstract

A correct planned, constructed and operated helophyte treatment plant has the very good efficiency. The effluent concentration is obviously lower than the emission standard The reduced nitrogen can be oxidized in the vertical flow bed because of suppling oxygen while the denitrification proceeds in the horizontal bed. It is, then, possible to design the helophyte treatment plant for the nitrification. Attention must be critically payed to the phosphor elimination through the adsorption and the precipitation proceeding in the bed since the medium of the bed is removed, the new medium filled and the new plant planted when the phosphor adsorption capacity is exhausted. Because of simple technology the operating cost is relatively cheap and the supervision of the treatment plant every day is not necessary. As problem the clogging was pointed out in the vertical flow bed. It is due to bad elimination of fine particle in the primary settling tank, pasted pore through bacteria growth or loss of pore space through chemical reactions(precipitation/flocking). The helophyte treatment plants represent the developed technology and is permissible in all lands of germany.
