Abstract

Korea National Sport University' foundation institue has been developing to build a database of dance contents of Korean intangible cultural heritage and electronic cultural map since 2017 with support from the National Reaearch Foundation of Korea. The first stage of this study Selected intangible cultural properties of 177 Event (178 dances), Based on the classification system of large, small, and small classification, The selected 14 categoriesof city designation classified and 10 categories of the national designation list in the first year of the study area, The Seoul Gut is divided into a ceremony dance /mugyo/ individual gut of Seoul Saenamgut and ceremony dance/ mugyo/ daedonggut. Among them, Seoul Intangible Cultural Property No. 104 Seoul saenamgut is became the source of all of city in koera, the Doryenong Dance is led to the development of Korean traditional dance and court dance. Therefore, the saenamgut is the nature of dance and beauty inherent in other local gut, you can find the meaning of dance with the new rite. Among the social functions of a gut dance, the dispelling of the haewon(problem solving) salpuri process and dancing therapy through Sang Saeng(common life) can be the fundamental function of dancing to restore the lonely nomads in a modern society. In other words, the Seoul Saenamgut’s Doryeong Dance, the mother of traditional Korean dance, is a new alternative and prospect to the fundamental healing mechanism of Korean traditional dance.
