노인을 위한 놀이치료연구 동향분석: 2000년 이후 국내연구를 중심으로

초록

본 연구는 노인을 대상으로 국내의 다양한 환경에 적용된 놀이치료 연구 동향을 분석하여 효과적이고 발전적인 실천적용과 연구방안을 제안하기 위한 목적으로 실시되었다. 분석은 2000년에서 2018년 6월까지 출간된 국내의 학술지 게재논문 140편을 대상으로 출처 및 연도, 연구대상, 연구방법, 연구내용, 치료접근 방법별로 구분하여 변인별로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 출처 및 연도별에서 미술치료연구에 게재된 논문이 44편(61.1%)으로 가장 많았고, 2000년대 중반부터 연구편수가 꾸준히 증가하는 추세를 보였다. 둘째, 연구대상별 동향에서는 진단을 받은 노인을 대상으로 한 연구가 72편(51.4%)으로 가장 높게 나타났는데, 이 중 치매노인 대상이 44편(61.5%)으로 많았으며, 연구대상 지역은 서울을 비롯한 수도권에서 36편(25.7%)으로 가장 높은 빈도를 보였다. 셋째, 연구방법별 동향에서 연구유형은 양적연구가 85편(60.7%), 연구 설계는 실험-통제집단사전사후 검증이 43편(40.7%), 연구형태는 집단대상이 130편(92.9%)으로 높게 나타났으며, 추후검사를 실시한 논문은 9편(7.0%)에 불과했다. 넷째, 연구내용별 동향에서 연구주제어에 따른 동향은 우울(58편)이 가장 많이 다루어진 변수였으며, 치료회기는 12회기 이하가 61편(43.6%)으로 높게 나타났다. 다섯째, 치료 접근별 동향에서는 개별 활동을 통합한 중재접근 중 음악영역이 7편(50.0%)로 가장 많았고, 개별접근 적용에서는 미술작업이 73편(52.1%)로 가장 높은 빈도를 보였다.

Abstract

The aims of this study was to analyze the trends of play therapy research applied to the elderly in a published paper in Korea and to propose to suggest effective and progressive practical application and research methods. The analysis was conducted on 140 published papers from Korean journals between 2000 and June 2018 by the sources and the year, research subjects, research methods, research contents, and treatment approaches. The results of this study are as follows. First, 44 papers(31.4%) were published in the Korean Journal of Art Therapy, and the number of researches published in the mid-2000s was steadily increasing in the year of publication. Second, in the according to the study participants, 72(51.4%) papers of medically diagnosed elderly were the highest, with 42(61.1%) papers of the elderly with dementia being the most common, and 36 (25.7%) studies were performed in the metropolitan area. Third, in the trend by research method, the study type was 85 (60.7%) papers for quantitative researchers, 43(40.7%) studies for experimental and controlled group tests, and 130 for group studies. And only 9 papers(7.0%) were conducted follow-up test. Fourth, in the trends according to research contents, depression (58 papers) was the most influential variable related to the research subject words, and 61 papers (43.6%) of the treatment sessions were less than 12th. Fifth, seven papers (50.0%) were combined with music therapy in intervention approach which integrated individual activities in the trend of treatment approach, and 73 papers (52.1%) of art therapy were the highest frequency in individual approach application.
