초록

This study examines the regulatory landscape and impact of implementing Good Clinical Laboratory Prac- tice (GCLP) in clinical trial sample analysis across the United States, Europe, China, and Korea. Clinical trials are essential for drug development, and reliable sample analysis plays a critical role in ensuring data integrity. GCLP integrates the principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) to maintain quality and reliability in clinical laboratory data. In particular, this research highlights how GCLP helps standardize processes and reduce discrepancies in multinational clinical trials. The comparative analysis of regulatory frameworks and the real-world effects of GCLP adoption in these countries provides insights into improving Korea’s clinical trial infrastructure. The study suggests that enhancing GCLP-compliant infrastructure, expanding personnel training, and establishing central labs are crucial steps for Korea to strengthen its global competitiveness. These measures are vital to ensuring data consistency and increas- ing the success rates of clinical trials in a rapidly evolving international regulatory environment.
