초록

본 논문은 상담 현장에서 주목받고 있는 내면가족체계(Internal Family System, IFS)를 목회상담에 접목하기 위한 시도이며, 성경에 담긴 치유 교훈으로 목회상담 실천 방법론을 개발하기 위한 연구이다. 내면가족체계는 이미 긍정적으로 평가되고 있으며, 목회상담에 적용할 가능성이 크다고 보인다. 변화와 발전을 요구받는 현실을 고려할 때 내면가족체계의 적용을 모색하는 것은 목회상담의 정체성을 지키면서 발전의 길을 찾는 적절한 시도라 여겨진다. 내면가족체계는 인간 내면을 다중체계로 설명하는데, 내면의 부분들이 조화를 이루고 적절하게 기능하는 것을 건강한 삶으로 설명한다. 이 조화의 핵심이 ‘참 자아’의 리더십인데, ‘참 자아’는 내면의 다른 부분들과 구별되는 내면의 중심이다. '참 자아‘의 건강한 리더십에 의해 내면의 여러 부분들은 적절한 역할을 하게 된다. ’참 자아‘는 8가지 속성을 지니고 있는데, 이 8가지 속성이 ’참 자아‘ 치유 에너지의 근원이다. ’참 자아‘ 리더십이 제대로 작동하지 않고 8가지 속성이 드러나지 않는 사람은 삶 가운데 여러 문제가 발생한다. 8가지 속성은 내면이 ’참 자아‘ 상태인지 점검할 수 있는 시금석 같은 기능을 한다. 본 논문은 예수 그리스도의 치유적 속성을 이해하기 위해 요한복음 4장을 내면가족체계적으로 읽을 것이다. 내면가족체계가 성경을 치유적으로 읽을 수 있는 새로운 관점을 제공해줄 것으로 기대한다. 예수님께서 사마리아 여인의 내면화된 수치심을 치유하신 사건을 이 관점으로 읽으며, 내면가족체계에서 말하는 ’참 자아‘와 예수님의 ’신적 자아‘에 의한 치유의 결과를 논의하고, 내면가족체계가 목회상담의 확장과 발전에 유용함을 밝힐 것이다.

Abstract

This thesis aims to explore the Internal Family System (IFS), which is attracting attention in Pastoral Counseling, and is a study to develop a Pastoral Counseling methodology with lessons from the Bible. The IFS has been evaluated positively, and it is highly suitable to be applied in Pastoral Counseling. Considering the reality in which change and development in Pastoral Counseling will be required, it is believed that the IFS’ use is an appropriate method to strengthen the identity of Pastoral Counseling and to contribute to its development. The IFS understands the inside of a human being as a multiple system, and it regards a healthy life as one where his(her) 'Parts' are in harmony and properly functioning, It also insists that confusion and conflict arise when the 'Parts' fail to play their roles or play disproportionate roles. The core of this harmony is the leadership of the 'True Self', which is the inner center that is distinguished from other 'Parts' of the inside. The healthy leadership of the 'True Self' coordinates the various 'Parts' of the inside appropriately. 'True Self' has 8 attributes that are the source of its healing energy. People whose 'True Self' leadership does not work properly and whose 8 attributes are not revealed will have problems in life. The 8 attributes act like a touchstone to check if your inner self is in a 'True Self' state. This thesis will analyze the dialogue between Jesus and a woman in John 4 in order to understand the healing properties of Jesus Christ. This analysis will provide a perspective for reading the Bible using the IFS. From this point of view, we will read the case of Jesus healing the internalized shame of a Samaritan woman, discuss healing through the 'True Self' referred to in the IFS, and reveal that the IFS’ application to her is useful for the expansion and development of Pastoral Counseling.
