본 연구의 목적은 초기양성과정에 있는 남성예비수도자들에게 집단미술치료를 실시하여, 그 경험이 주는 의 미가 무엇인지를 탐구하는 것이다. 연구대상은 00수도회의 초기양성과정에 있는 남성예비수도자 6명으로, 2016 년 4월 25부터 29일까지, 4박 5일 동안, 22회기를 실시하였다. 본 연구는 내러티브 탐구 방법으로 분석하였다. 현장 텍스트를 기반으로 한 경험이야기는 3가지 상위개념, ‘마음의 방향이 신을 향하다’, ‘신 앞에 선 인간-내 모습과 만나다’, ‘신을 따라가는 여정에 오르다’로 생성되었다. 그리고 경험의 의미는 6개, ’미숙함과 성숙함 사 이의 다리를 건너다’, ‘부정적인 자아상이 생겨난 자리에서 어머니와의 관계를 보다‘, ’상징화를 통해 안전하게 나를 드러내면서 자신과 조우하다‘, ’집단역동을 통해 상호이해의 폭을 넓히고 함께 양성 되는 것에 책임감을 느끼다‘, ’연구자와 참여자가 수도생활을 하고 있다는 공통점이 상호 신뢰감을 주다‘, ’신을 향한 삶의 방향성을 재확인하다‘로 생성되었다. 집단미술치료 체험은 예비수도자들이 스스로 인식하지 못했던 자신의 미숙함을 통 찰 할 수 있는 기회가 되었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this research was to explore the implications of the experience of group art therapy conducted to male preparatory Catholic monks during their initial training stage. There search consisted of 6 male preparatory religious who are in the initial training stage of the Order from April 25th to April 29th in 2016. Twenty-two sessions were held for 4 nights and 5 days. This research was analyzed using the narrative inquiry methods. There are three top concepts based onsite text: “The direction of the mind towards God,” “Human being standing in front of God - Meeting myself,” and “The journey of following God.” In addition, six meaning so experience were created: (1) ”Crossing the bridge between immaturity and maturity,” (2) “Looking through the relationship with mother when a negative self-image arises,” (3) “Encountering myself while revealing myself safely through symbolization,” (4) “Broadening mutual understanding through group dynamics and getting responsible to be nurtured together,” (5) “Having in common among researchers and participants living in religious life provides mutual trust,” and (6) “Reconfirming the direction of life towards God.” Thus, the experience of group art therapy became an opportunity for the preparatory Catholic monks to give insight into their own immaturity that they have not recognized themselves.
