언어경험접근법을 활용한 언어교육 프로그램이 정신지체 아동의 어휘력 향상에 미치는 효과

본 연구는 언어사용에 전반적인 어려움이 있는 정신지체 아동을 대상으로 언어경험접근법을 활용한 언어교육 프로그램을 제공하여 아동의 어휘력 향상에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하는 데 목적이 있다. 이 연구의 참여자는 I특수학교 초등부 정신지체 아동 3명이며, 중재는 언어경험접근법을 활용한 언어교육 프로그램으로서 2013년 9월부터 둘째 주부터 10월 셋째 주까지 한 회기를 80분으로 하여 주 1회씩 총 5회기(10차시)에 걸쳐 실시하였다. 연구결과, 언어경험접근법을 활용한 언어교육 프로그램은 정신지체 아동의 수용어휘력과 표현어휘력 향상 모두 사전검사에서보다 중재 기간 동안 더 좋은 결과를 나타냈으며, 사후검사에서도 중재 때와 유사한 결과를 나타내면서 중재 유지 효과가 있음을 보여주었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to declare the effect of Language Experience Approach(LEA) on vocabulary improvement of children with intellectual disorders who have difficulties with language usages because of few number of vocabulary, a fixed expressive vocabulary, and a lack of receptive vocabulary. The results obtained in this study can be summarized as follows; First, language teaching by language training program using LEA affected to improve receptive vocabulary of children with intellectual disorders with little differences depends on child with intellectual disorders. Second, language teaching by language training program using LEA affected to improve expressive vocabulary of children with intellectual disorders with little differences depends on child with intellectual disorders.
