Abstract
With the outbreak of COVID-19, public health around the world faces unprecedented challenges. Although a vast amount of medical and health data has been generated, existing data, especially the link between COVID-19 and other diseases, is still limited. The purpose of this study is to combine the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency's 2020 and 2021 COVID-19 data and KNHANES data at the individual entity level to explore the correlation between public health conditions and COVID-19 while addressing privacy concerns. To integrate the data, Python's pandas and numpy libraries were used to convert aggregated statistics into individual patient-based rows, ensuring that each entity was unique. The combined data guarantees anonymity and integrity. Using the methodology of this study, it is possible to conduct specific epidemiological studies on COVID-19 using the properties of each entity. Ultimately, it could explore the causes of deaths from the virus in detail and inform and improve the public health response.
