관성 센서는 IMeasure U Blue Trident(Vicon Motion Systems Ltd, Oxford, UK)를 2개 이용하였다.

Abstract

This study utilized inertial sensors to analyze the performance of Taekwondo Poomsae athletes. If the lower extremity joint strength of Poomsae athletes can be quantified, it could be used effectively to determine training intensity and program design. To achieve this goal, we hypothesized that there would be no differences in kinematic (velocity, acceleration) factors across each lower extremity joint segment using 3D motion analysis equipment and inertial sensors. Simultaneous measurements using 3D motion analysis equipment and inertial sensors were conducted to verify the similarity between the equipment and the validity of motion analysis using inertial sensors. The 20 participants in this study had an average age of 19.80 (±0.93) years, an average height of 173.90 (±4.96) cm, and an average weight of 70.44 (±4.97) kg. For three-dimensional motion analysis, five video cameras (Osprey Digital Camera, Motion Analysis, USA) were used to film the front kick motion, 11 reflective markers were attached, and the camera speed was set to 240 frames per second (240 Hz). Two IMeasure U Blue Trident (Vicon Motion Systems Ltd, Oxford, UK) inertial sensors were used. After data processing, descriptive statistics and independent t-tests were applied and analyzed using SPSS Ver. 29.0. This study showed that the speed and composite acceleration of the Taekwondo front kick did not show significant differences in the femur and tibia segments, allowing appropriate results to be confirmed through the inertial sensors. In addition, it was confirmed that the time to perform the kick was very similar.
