제주연안 연산호 군락 산호의 조형적 특성을 활용한 침구 디자인 개발 연구

Abstract

Recently, coral mortality of the Population of Soft Corals Along the Coast of Jeju, designated as Korea's Natural Monument No. 442, has been progressing rapidly. In this study proposes a bedding design that utilizes the formability characteristics of corals of the Population of Soft Corals Along the Coast of Jeju to promote the diversity of corals of the Population of Soft Corals Along the Coast of Jeju and their importance as a biological resource. In the theoretical review of this study, we analyzed bedding design case studies and found that bedding design motifs were dominated by natural objects and fewer motifs related to marine life. Based on the results of these case studies, we developed an original design that utilizes coral, a marine creature that is not commonly used as a bedding design motif, and combines it with modern bedding design trends. Through this study, we were able to obtain a variety of design results that utilize the formability characteristics of corals of the Population of Soft Corals Along the Coast of Jeju to appeal to the bedding textile market. We hope that the design presented in this study, based on the formability characteristics of corals of the Population of Soft Corals Along the Coast of Jeju and the current state of bedding design, will contribute to the spread of the value of preserving the ecosystem of the Population of Soft Corals Along the Coast of Jeju, which is currently attracting attention as an environmental issue, and that it will develop into a bedding design that meets social needs and is competitive with modern bedding design trends.
