초록

This study investigates the use of Action Research (AR) to improve the writing proficiency of undergraduate students majoring in Kazakh Language and Literature. Despite the importance of writing skills in this field, many students struggle to meet academic and creative writing standards. The AR method, known for its reflective and cyclical nature, was applied to identify challenges in writing, implement targeted interventions, and assess progress. The research involved diagnosing writing difficulties and applying interventions, such as workshops, peer reviews, and culturally relevant writing tasks. These activities aimed to improve clarity, coherence, and creativity while fostering deeper engagement with the content and cultural context of the Kazakh language. The study found significant improvements in students' writing, with enhanced self-assessment, critical thinking, and creativity. While AR proved effective, challenges such as student motivation, time constraints, and logistical issues were encountered. However, solutions, including digital tools and streamlined interventions, were identified. The study highlights the transformative potential of AR in language education, offering insights for educators aiming to adopt innovative teaching strategies that improve student outcomes in Kazakh language education.
