Purpose: To develop the IPE-Sim based dementia management program for community-dwelling older adults with dementia. Methods: The educational program was developed using the five phases of the ADDIE model. Methods: The educational program was developed using the five phases of the ADDIE model. Results: The scenario's goals were established according to the learning needs survey and learning objectives. The program scenario was developed using BASC, a tool for simulation scenario creation. The final scenario’s content validity was verified by experts. The final program template comprised five components. In the scenario section, the roles of five interprofessional characters were set and a standardized patient portrayed an older adult with dementia. Conclusion: The IPE-Sim based dementia management program for community-dwelling older adults with dementia can be expected to improve collaboration among professionals. Thus, it is an effective evidence-based approach for managing dementia in the community.
