연구배경: 본 연구의 목적은 국내의 500병상 이상인 대학병원에서 입원환자들에게 제공하는 급식서비스 중 식단안내문의 디자인 개선이 필요함을 인식하고 효율적 전달이 용이한 형태의 식단안내문 디자인을 제안하는 데 있다. 연구방법: 9개 병원의 식단안내문을 수집하여 비교 분석하고, 병원을 직접 방문하여 영양부, 간호부와의 협력을 통해 기존 식단안내문의 구성 및 정보전달을 저해하는 문제점을 파악하였다. 이를 통해 일반형, 선택형 식단안내문 디자인과 모바일 어플리케이션의 디자인 안을 제작하여 입원환자를 대상으로 설문을 통해 가독성이 높고 정보전달이 용이한 형태를 조사하였다. 연구결과: 그 결과, 정보를 종류와 중요도에 따라 분류 및 배치를 진행하는 것과 주요항목의 정보전달력을 높이는 방안으로 아이콘 사용, 명도 조절, 서체 크기 조절 등을 활용하는 것이 필요함을 확인하였다. 결론: 이를 토대로 보다 세부적인 개선방안을 모색하여 인쇄매체와 디지털 매체인 모바일 어플리케이션으로 식단 안내문 최종 개선안을 제안하고자 한다.
Abstract
Background: Recognizing the necessary improvement to the designs of menus for the meal service provided to inpatients in Korean university hospitals with more than 500 beds, this study aimed on presenting an improved menu design for effective delivery of information. Methods: This study collected and compared menus of 9 hospitals and through visits to the hospitals and cooperation with the nutrition teams and nursing teams in each hospital, identified problems with the current menus and factors which hinder the delivery of information. Through such research, this study designed general, specialized menus and a mobile application design for the menu, and conducted a user research on inpatients to identify the design which has high readability and easily delivers information. Result: The results showed that it is important to classify and place the information based on its type and importance. The results further confirmed the significance of factors including icons, brightness and the size of fonts for the effective delivery of information. Conclusion: The finalized design presented in this study was improved to reflect the various details and were created in the print form and the digital form, as a mobile application.
