Looking over the systematic collaboration between mental health and police system for suicide prevention

It is inevitable that mutual collaboration between mental health system and public agencies such as police that is in charge of social safety for crisis intervention of suicide risk and crisis driven by mental illness. Korea already has established legal basis for mutual collaboration and the regional and local governments are trying to develop the more official collaboration. Further more it is necessary the police system should be empowered to establish safer society like other developed countries.
