사회ㆍ문화 과목 학업 성취도와 학업 소진감의 상호 관계 분석 -부산 ○○고 1학년을 중심으로-

본 연구의 목적은 사회ㆍ문화 과목의 학업 성취도와 학업 소진감에 대한 상호 인과 관계를 밝히는 것이다. 연구 대상은 2013학년도 ○○고 1학년 재학생 231명이다. 분석 결과에 의하면 사회ㆍ문화 과목의 학업 성취도가 낮으면 학업 소진감이 높아지는 경향이 있지만, 학업 소진감이 학업 성취도에 미치는 영향은 드러나지 않았다. 따라서 두 변인간의 상호 인과 관계는 발견되지 않았다. 이것은 사회ㆍ문화 과목이 학교 교육을 통해 학업 소진감을 최소화하면서 학업 성취도 향상을 도모할 수 있는 과목이라는 사실을 보여주는 결과이다.
Abstract
In this is paper, I have tried to investigate a reciprocal relationship between academic achievement and study burnout in SocietyㆍCulture. On this purpose, an autoregressive cross-lagged modeling was taken in oder to examine the reciprocal relationship between the two variables. And a path analysis was performed to test the model. The data came from 231 ○○High School students in Busan. All of them were 10th grade in 2013. This research demonstrated that the academic achievement predicted the subsequent study burnout, where as the study burnout did not predict the subsequent academic achievement. Thus I could not find the reciprocal causation between the two variables. In line with the findings I have suggested that teachers are able to improve students’ academic achievement in SocietyㆍCulture without suffering from study burnout.
