본 연구는 학문 목적 중국인 한국어 학습자가 개별 학습 환경에서 생성형 AI를 활용하여 토픽 쓰기와 말하기 시험을 대비하는 경험을 심층적으로 탐구하고, 이를 통해 한국어 시험 대비 학습 과정에서 생성형 AI의 역할과 효과를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 중국인 학습자인 리우와 민의 사례를 중심으로, 생성형 AI 도구(Kimi, 뤼튼, ChatGPT)가 한국어 학습에서의 동기 강화, 학습 효율성 증대, 학문적 역량 향상에 어떻게 기여했는지 구체적으로 살펴보았다. 리우는 토픽 쓰기 영역 학습에서 문법 및 내용 측면의 피드백을 통해 글쓰기 능력을 향상시켰고, 논문 작성으로 학습을 확장하였다. 민은 ChatGPT를 활용하여 토픽 말하기 시험 대비 논리적 발화 기술과 발음 교정을 연습하며 학문적 발표 준비로 학습 범위를 넓혔다. 연구 결과, 생성형 AI 도구는 개별 학습자의 필요에 맞춘 맞춤형 학습 지원과 심리적 장벽 완화를 통해 학습 동기를 강화하고 학습 효능감을 고취시키는 데 기여하였다. 또한, 생성형 AI 활용 과정에서 윤리적 문제와 올바른 도구 사용법에 대한 고민이 학습자들 사이에서 중요하게 다루어졌다. 본 연구는 학습자 맞춤형 AI 도구 활용의 교육적 가능성과 윤리적 고려의 중요성을 제시하며, 향후 다양한 국적과 배경을 아우르는 연구의 필요성을 강조한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore in-depth the experience of Chinese Korean learners using Generative AI in an individual learning environment to prepare for topic writing and speaking tests, and to analyze the role and effect of Generative AI in the learning process compared to the Korean test. Focusing on the experiences of two Chinese learners, Liu and Min, the study examines how generative AI tools (Kimi, RYUTEN, ChatGPT) contributed to enhancing motivation, increasing learning efficiency, and improving academic capabilities in Korean language learning. Liu improved their writing skills through feedback on grammar and content in the topic writing area, and extended their learning to academic paper writing. Min utilized ChatGPT to practice logical speaking and pronunciation correction for the TOPIK speaking test and extended his learning to prepare for academic presentations. The results indicate that generative AI tools significantly supported tailored learning needs, reduced psychological barriers, enhanced motivation, and fostered learning efficacy. Additionally, the learners highlighted ethical issues and the importance of proper usage in the process of using generative AI tools. This study underscores the educational potential of tailored AI tools and emphasizes the importance of ethical considerations, calling for future research to include diverse nationalities and backgrounds.
