국가 중요시설 및 공공건물 등에서는 불순 세력들의 직·간접적 접근에 의한 테러 행위를 차단하기 위해 출입자에 대한 검문검색을 실시하고 있다. 또한 일부 기관에서는 출입자의 위험한 소지품을 보다 정밀하게 검색하기 위해 X-Ray 검색대를 운영하고 있다. 최근 발생하고 있는 테러 행위를 보면 택배, 휴대 소지품 등에서 화학적 물품이 발견되고 있어 이를 사전에 차단할 수 있는 선택적인 기능성 수단이 필요하다. 현재 검색에 사용되고 있는 검색대는 총기, 도검류 검색 및 일부 화약을 확인하는 수준에 불과하다. 따라서 일련의 사건들을 분석해 보면 방사능, 생물학, 화학에 대한 오염 물질이 유입되었을 때 현재 출입 통제 시스템으로는 차단할 수가 없으므로 출입구에서 원천적으로 검색대의 기능을 보완하여 사전에 차단할 수 있도록 특정한 장비 개발의 필요성이 요구되고 있다.
Abstract
In national important facilities and public buildings, security measures such as screening and searches of individuals are being conducted to prevent terrorist acts by malicious forces, both directly and indirectly. In addition, some organizations operate X-Ray search stations to more accurately search for dangerous belongings of visitors. In recent terrorist acts, chemical items have been found in couriers and carry-on belongings, so selective functional measures are needed to block them in advance. Currently, the search stations used for search are only at the level of checking guns, swords, and some gunpowder. Therefore, when pollutants for radioactivity, biology, and chemistry are introduced, the current access control system cannot block them, so it is necessary to develop specific equipment to supplement the function of the search station at the entrance and block them in advance.
