사회공포증과 불안검사-14(SPAI-14) 개발 및 타당화 연구

본 연구에서는 대학생 721명을 대상으로 사회공포증과 불안검사의 단축형 척도인 사회공포증과 불안검사-14(SPAI-14)를 개발하고 타당화하였다. 먼저 전체문항평균과 각 문항의 상관을 확인한 결과 모든 문항이 전체문항평균과 상관이 높아 전체 문항을 대상으로 요인분석을 실시하였다. 사회공포증과 불안검사-14의 요인구조를 알아보기 위해 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 사회공포의 정서, 행동, 인지적 측면의 세 요인이 추출되었다. SPAI-14와 다른 사회불안검사지와의 상관을 살펴본 결과 사회공포척도, 사회적 관계 및 회피척도와의 상관이 높은 것으로 나타났다. SPAI-14의 신뢰도는 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 사회불안이 있는 사람들을 잘 진단할 수 있는지 확인하기 위해 ROC 곡선 분석을 실시한 결과 AUC의 값이 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 절단점(cut-off)은 3.41이상으로 진단적 특성이 우수한 것으로 나타났다(민감도=.90, 특이도=.93). 남녀차이 및 연령차를 비교한 결과 성별 및 연령차는 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 요약하면, SPAI-14는 심리측정적으로 우수하며, 사회공포증에 대한 좋은 진단적 특성을 가지고 있는 것으로 확인 되었다. 마지막으로 이 연구의 제한점과 치료 및 연구에 대한 시사점을 논의하였다.
Abstract
This study was performed to develop and validate the Social phobia and anxiety inventory-14(SPAI-14). The SPAI-14 was completed by 721 university students. Factor analysis of the SPAI-14 yielded the following three factors: the factors of cognition, emotion and behavior in social phobia. It has shown to have the positive correlations with SPS, SIAS, K-BFNE2. These results suggest that the SPAI-14 seems to be a useful scale for measuring the extent of social phobia. The SPAI-14 showed good accuracy, as assessed through ROC analyses(AUC=.95). It was not significant for the differences between men and women and among different ages. In sum, the SPAI-14 is a psychometrically sound instrument with good screening capacity for social anxiety disorder in clinical as well as community samples. We discussed the SPAI-14’s implications regarding the study and treatment of social anxiety disorder.
