보령 송학리 조개더미 출토 뗀석기의 기술-기능적 연구

이글의 목적은 크게 2가지로 나눌 수 있다. 첫째는 조개더미에서 출토된 뗀석기 제작 과정의 기술적 특성을 살피는 것이다. 그리고 둘째는 출토된 뗀석기들의 쓴자국을 분석하여 기능적 특성을 밝히는데 있다. 출토된 뗀석기는 층위에서 출토된 뗀석기 56점으로 크게 격지를 밑감으로 다듬은 후 가장자리를 잔손질하여 전체 형태와 날을 만들어낸 석기(Ⅰ형)들과 자연석의 끝 부분만을 잔손질한 석기(Ⅱ형)로 나눌 수 있다. Ⅰ형은 두껍고 긴 격지를 이용한 경우(Ⅰ-1형)와 짧고 넓은 격지(Ⅰ-2형), 그리고 얇은 격지(Ⅰ-3형)를 이용한 경우로 구분하여 밑감의 종류와 형태에 따라 4가지로 세분된다. 분석결과 돌감은 지역내 돌감인 사암을 주로 사용하였고, 각 유형의 격지 밑감을 제작하는데는 단순한 직접떼기 기술이 관찰되나 각 유형별로 다른 망치돌을 사용하여 밑감을 제작하였음을 확인하였다. 또한 쓴자국 분석과 민족지 자료를 참고할 때 Ⅰ-1형의 경우 사용 편의를 위한 손잡이의 장착이 이루어져 갯벌 또는 땅을 파는 작업에 사용되었을 것으로 볼 수 있으며 그 외의 나머지 흔적이 확인되는 석기들은 굴의 채취 및 손질에 사용된 실험 석기에서 관찰되는 흔적들과 유사한흔적들을 보이고 있다. 이는 당시 송학리 신석기인들이 석기 제작과정 가운데 다양한 기술적선택이 있었음을 보여주고 있으며, 송학리 조개더미 뗀석기를 통하여 당시 신석기인 들이 갯벌 자원 가운데 조개채취 뿐만 아니라 낙지잡이 등 다양한 생계방식을 보여주는 기능적 요소를갖고 있는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this article is subdivided to two kinds. The first is to understand a production technology of excavated in a shell midden, and there is it though the second functional analyzes of excavated knapped stone and Enlighten functional attributes. Of a stone implement and the native rock which excavated direct percussion fleshed out it in around back that greatly fixed flake in 51 points of stone implements called ‘by socalled ‘guljiku’ in blanks and created a whole form and days is over, and can divide only a part in the stone implement which fleshed out. When I use short, wide flake and thin flake when I subdivide it in the case of a stone implement using flake a little more and use thick, long flake, I divide it, and I am subdivided to four kinds by a kind and a form of blanks. The analys is raw materials used the sandstone which was neighbor raw materials mainly and I could observe a simple direct percussion technology to produce flake blanks of each type, but confirmed that I produced blanks using other hammer stones by each type distinction. In addition, the confirmed stone implement of the remainder trace except one of the perilla which is seen because I was used for work that the wearing of the handle for use convenience consists in the case of an I-1 type at time to perform reference of functional analysis and an ethngraphy document and sells a tidelandor the ground shows a trace and a similar trace observed in an experiment stone implement used for the collection of the oyster and care. This understands that confucianism studied during the Songhakri neolithic peoples was it in a variety of technical choice out of the stone implement facture in those days and can show that it was the active utilize of tideland resources out side shellfish collection well particularly through confucianism studied during the Songhakri shell midden knapped stone
