2006년 여름에는 46일간 장마가 지속되어, 평년 강수량의 2배를 기록했다. 강원도 인제군에서는 7월 14일부터 16일까지의 집중호우에 의해 21명의 사망 및 실종자가 발생하였다. 본 연구는 이 기간 동안 인제군에서 집중호우의 양상과 이에 따른 산사태, 홍수 등의 지형 재해의 현황과 특성을 밝히고, 이를 지도화하였다. 토석류의 형태로 나타난 산사태는 인제군의 중부 지역에 집중되었으며, 특히, 사면 절개지와 벌목지에서 더욱 심하였다. 홍수 피해가 가장 컸던 하천은 한계천, 덕산천, 가리산천, 귀둔천, 원대천 등의 산지 소하천들로, 산사태에 의해 공급된 다량의 토사와 암설로 피해가 더욱 가중되었다. 한편, 소양강과 북천에 비해, 내린천 본류는 유역의 특성, 장마전선의 이동 방향, 하도의 자연성에 의해 첨두 유량이 상대적으로 높지 않아 범람에 의한 피해가 덜하였다.
Abstract
Because Changma was kept up for 46 days in the summer, 2006, the precipitation of this period was recorded twofold or more than annual average precipitation. The severe rain storm, from 12 to 16, July in Inje-gun, Gangwon-do, was caused of 21 dead or missing people. The aim of this study is to explain to the phase of severe rain storm, analyze to conditions and features of geomorphological hazards, such as floods and landslides, and mark these characteristics on map. Landslides, a kind of earth flow, were intensively generated in center part of Inje-gun, especially, in removal and felled slope area. The streams with severe damage were small mountain creek, such as Hangye-cheon, Deoksan-cheon, Garisan-cheon, Gwidun-cheon and Wondae-cheon, and sediment and debris, provided by landslide, increased damages in these stream. Unlike Soyang-gang and Buk-cheon, the damage in Narerin-cheon was reduced by relatively lower peak discharge for the characters of basin area, direction of Changma front and features of natural channel.
