Abstract

In this paper, we studyrotation surfaces in the Minko-wski 3-dimensional space withpointwise 1-type Gauss map and obtain by the use of the conceptof pointwise finite type Gauss map, a characterization theoremconcerning rotation surfaces and constancy of the mean curvatureof certain open subsets on these surfaces.
