성폭력 가해자의 수강명령과정에 대한 근거이론 접근

초록

본 연구는 성폭력 가해자들의 수강명령과정에서의 경험을 규명하고 설명하는 실체이론을 개발하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 본 연구에서는 수강명령에 참여하고 있는 성폭력 가해자 10명을 대상으로 심층면접을 통한 질적 연구를 수행하였다. 자료 분석은 질적 연구 방법 중 Strauss & Corbin(1998)이 제시한 근거이론 방법에 의해서 이루어졌다. 연구 참여자들과의 심층면담을 통해 얻은 원 자료를 이론적 민감성을 가지고 지속적으로 개방코딩 한 결과 총 12개의 범주와 25개의 하위범주, 144개의 개념을 추출하였다. 이를 요약해 보면, 중심현상을 일으킨 인과적 조건은 ‘담을 수 없는 잘못’이며, 참여자들의 경험에 대한 중심현상은 ‘안개 속에서 길 찾기’로 나타났다. 이에 영향을 미친 맥락적 조건은 ‘나만의 책임이 아님’, ‘코에 걸면 코걸이, 귀에 걸면 귀걸이’, ‘진흙탕에 빠짐’의 세 가지였다. 작용/상호작용 전략을 촉진시키거나 억제하는 중재적 조건은 ‘잊혀진 시간을 되새김’, ‘피해자에 대한 인식’, ‘성인식 제고’였으며, 결과는 ‘상처가 치유되길 바람’, ‘새로 태어난 마음’으로 나타났다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the attendance center order's experience of sexual offenders. This qualitative research was conducted by in-depth 10 interviews with sexual offenders. As for data analysis on this qualitative study, the grounded theory suggested by Strauss and Corbin(1998) was used. The raw data collected from in-depth interviews with the participants were analyzed by the open coding, combined with theoretically sensitive and constant comparisons method. As a result, a total of 12 categories, 25 subcategories and 144 concepts were generated. In summary, the causal condition that caused the core phenomenon was 'It is no use crying over spit milk.' The core phenomenon that sexual offenders experience during the process of attendance center order was 'seek for a way in a dense fog.' The contextual condition that affected the outcome was ' hold a person accountable for,' 'It differs with the circumstances,' and 'get face with difficult.' The intervening conditions that promote or restrain action/ interaction on core phenomenon were 'chewing over the forgotten time,' 'recognition for a victim' and 'raising the gender recognition.' As a result, two concepts such as ' hope for get over ' and ' It was like being born again' were assumed.
