Abstract
This paper mainly discusses the situation of writing about Chinese literature history in the period of the May Forth Movement. As for the upsurge of writing about Chinese literature, the paper first talks about several causes such as establishing of modern literature concept, cultural market needs, then Several characteristics such as modern literature concept, Paradigm of post-modern history writing, Academic background of textual researching, diversification, and finally some contradictions and problems in this course.
