The local area augmentation system (LAAS) will augment the GPS to provide an all-weather approach, landing, and surface navigation capability. In this paper, domestic and overseas development efforts for transitioning to LAAS are surveyed and its key technologies and algorithms are analyzed. This paper also proposes the method for the development and implementation of the satellite-based precision approach system formilitary purposes using the key technologies applied to the ACMI system of ROKAF.
Abstract
