AI 시대 역량 함양을 위한 실과 소프트웨어교육의 방향

AI가 사회에 큰 영향을 미치고, AI 교육에 대한 요구가 높아짐에 따라 초등교육에 AI 기본소양교육을 포함해야 한다는 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이러한 필요성에 따라 이 연구는 AI의 개념과 AI 기술의 발전 모습을 검토하였고, AI 기술 발전에 따른 생활 변화, 산업 변화, 일자리 변화, 그리고 사회적 이슈 등을 살펴보았다. 교육 분야의 요구를 파악하기 위하여 해외 AI 선도 국가의 AI 정책과 AI 교육과정 등을 검토하였고, AI 시대에 누구나 갖추어야 하는 기본 역량, 즉 AI 시대 역량을 도출하였다. 또한, 실과 소프트웨어교육이 초등 AI교육의 연장선에서 어떤 방향성을 가져야 하는지를 탐색하기 위하여 AI 시대의 소프트웨어교육 모델(안)을 제안하였다. 이 모델은 AI 시대 역량인 인간 고유 역량 및 인간-기계 협력 능력의 함양을 목표로 한다. 이 모델을 적용한 예시로써 실과 교과의 소프트웨어교육 내용 및 방법을 예시하였다. 이 연구를 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 첫째, AI 기술이 우리 사회에 큰 변화를 가져왔고, 새로운 사회적 이슈를 파생시킴에 따라 AI 리터러시가 일반 시민들의 핵심역량에 포함될 필요가 있다. 둘째, AI 리터러시는 AI의 기본 개념과 원리를 이해하고, AI 도구를 올바르게 활용하며, AI 기술과 데이터를 이용하여 결과물을 산출할 수 있는 능력이고, AI 기초 지식, AI 활용 능력, AI 개발 능력, AI 윤리․가치관을 하위 요소로 둔다. 셋째, 노칼라 근로자를 위한 새로운 사고방식, 미래사회에 대비한 역량, 4차 산업혁명을 고려한 디지털 역량, AI 리터러시 탐색을 통하여 도출된 AI 시대 역량은 인간 고유 역량과 인간-기계 협력 능력으로 구분된다. 넷째, AI 시대의 소프트웨어교육 모델(안)은 기존 소프트웨어교육 내용 및 방법에 AI 기초지식과 AI학습 플랫폼을 추가하였고, AI 시대 역량을 지향한다.
Abstract
As AI has a great impact on our society and the demand for AI education has increased, the need to include basic AI education in primary education has emerged. According to this necessity, this study reviewed the concept of AI and AI technology, and looked at changes in life, changes in industries, changes in jobs, and social issues due to the development of AI technology. In order to grasp the needs of the education field, we reviewed AI policies and AI curriculum of foreign countries leading AI, and derived basic competencies that everyone should have in the AI era, namely competencies in the AI era. In addition, a software education model(proposal) of the AI era was proposed to explore what direction the software education of the practical arts subject should have in the extension of elementary AI education. This model aims to cultivate human-specific capabilities and human-machine cooperation capabilities, which are competencies of the AI era. As an example of applying this model, the contents and method of software education of the practial arts subject are illustrated. Through this study, the following conclusions were drawn. First, AI technology needs to be included in the core competencies of ordinary citizens as AI technology has had a great impact on our society and derives new social issues. Second, AI literacy is the ability to understand the basic concepts and principles of AI, use AI tools correctly, and produce results using AI technology and data. AI literacy has the basic knowledge of AI, the ability to utilize AI, the ability to develop AI, and the ethics and values of AI as sub-elements. Third, the competencies in the AI era were derived through exploration of new ways of thinking for no-collar workers, capabilities for future society, digital capabilities considering the fourth industrial revolution, and AI literacy. It consists of human-specific capabilities and human-machine cooperation capabilities. Fourth, the software education model(proposal) of the AI era adds AI basic knowledge and a learning platform for AI to the existing software education contents and methods, and aims for competencies in the AI era.
