This study is aimed to search the method of design on the features of hair stream, limiting to the ways of hair cutting in hair treatment To investigate hair cutting management for various shape of hair stream, beauty shops in Gwang-ju were visited and consulted hair specialists who have over ten years of experience. Documents were recorded by taking notes and photos. Ten beauty specialists classified photos corresponding to the objective of this study. Classified data were analyzed to identify managing features. The research was performed from 27 Sep 07 to 30 Sep 08. Research shows that adjustment of texture, weight and length of hair were representative hair cutting management for various shape of hair stream. There are some differences between male and female, which is minor. In conclusion, it is verified that hair stream has a great effect on hair design.
