온라인 공간에서의 학습 상호작용 유형에 관한 연구

및 이론적 논의교실수업에 대한 질적연구는 사회과 수업 시간에 발생하는 상호작용에 대한 우리의 이해를 돕는데 많은 도움을 주었다. 그러나 인터넷이 사회과 학습에 가지는 영향력이 상당함에도 불구하고 그동안 가상 공간에서의 학습활동에 대해 분석한 연구는 거의 없었다. 즉 매체로서의 인터넷이 가지는 교육적 효과에만 관심을 가진 채, 정작 인터넷 공간 속에서 무슨 일이 일어나고 있는지를 보지 못하였다. 만약 웹기반 학습이 학생들의 탐구력 향상에 도움이 되는 요소를 갖추었음에도 불구하고 실제로 그 성과가 미흡한 경우에, 우리는 웹이라는 매체의 문제점을 연구하는 것보다는 학생들이 실제로 웹사이트 속에서, 그리고 여러 웹사이트들의 망이 되는 인터넷 공간 속에서 무엇을 했는지, 왜 그렇게 행위하는지를 살펴보아야 할 것이다. 따라서 본 연구는 경제교과와 관련한 온라인 커뮤니티를 대상으로 실제 온라인 공간에서 교사와 학생들이 어떤 상호작용을 하는지를 살펴보고 그 유형을 밝혀보았다. “온라인 커뮤니티 상호작용 유형(ITOC)”은 이후 가상 공간상의 학습 상호작용을 분석하는데 유용한 틀이 될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. 다음은 온라인 커뮤니티 상호작용 유형을 간략히 요약한 표이다.
