이 연구는 현대 교회의 급속한 예배 변화 속에서 함께 유지할 일치된 요소들을 확인할 필요가 있음을 인식하며, 더욱 다양해질 차세대 예배들이 함께 추구할 예배 원리를 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 범위는 연구 주제에 초점을 맞춰 20세기 교회일치운동의 준거가 되었던 초대교회 예배연구와 현대교회가 당면한 세계화에 따른 포스트모던과 후기 포스트모던 예배운동들을 다룬다. 초대교회예배연구는 각 교단의 폐쇄적인 예배관습의 문을 열게 했고, 그리스도교 예배에 다양성을 알게 할 뿐 아니라, 코이노니아로서의 예배 일치의 가능성을 보여주었다. 초대교회예배의 다양성과 통일성을 분석하기 위해서 초대교회에 예배공동체, 제자공동체의 예배이해, 바울의 예배 이해를 분석한다. 초기 기독교예배의 형성에 결정적인 영향을 주었던 예수의 하나님 사랑과 이웃과 원수에 대한 사랑의 이중계명은 다양한 예배형식과 전통의 차이에도 불구하고 코이노니아로서의 그리스도 예배의 일치의 가능성을 열어준다. 한(Hahn)이 분석한 초기의 네 부류의 예배공동체들의 특징들은 한국교회의 다양한 예배공동체의 차이 속에서 경직된 의식화, 유대적 율법화, 세속적 자유주의, 이단적 극단주의의 위험을 경계하면서 성령의 활동을 쫓아 그리스도의 사랑이 담긴 일상성 안의 영적 예배를 통해 코이노니아적 통일성을 발견해나갈 수 있도록 길을 열어준다. 포스트모던 예배현상인 교회일치운동으로 시작된 현대예전운동은 에큐메니칼 정신에 따른 형식인 말씀선포와 성례전 거행을, 나아가서 예배의 4중 구조인 모임, 말씀, 성찬 파송을 유지하지만, 그것을 실행하는데 있어서는 파격적인 다양성을 존중한다. 차세대 예배의 또 다른 문화현상인 후기 포스트모더니즘 시기에는 이성과 믿음을 동시에, 즉 교단의 교리와 개인의 개성과 경험을 함께 아우르는 움직임이 일어나고 있는데 칼빈예배심포지엄과 같은 세계 교회의 예배 심포지엄의 출현, 신설교학 이후 후기신설교학의 등장, 그리고 초대교회를 닮은 작은 예배공동체운동, 세대통합예배에 대한 기대 등이 그것이다. 차세대 예배는 한 교단의 예배처럼 고정된 예배형태가 아니라 예배회중의 삶의 자리에 따라 모더니즘에서부터 후기 포스트모더니즘까지 다양한 형태로 병존할 것이다. 이런 관찰을 통해 얻게 된 다양성 속에 코이노니아적 일치의 예배에 대한 여섯 가지 원리로는 하나님 사랑과 이웃 사랑의 균형, 예수 안에서 이미 시작된 미래를 함께 바라는 영과 진리의 예배, 그리스도의 몸의 각 지체들로서 다양한 은사를 서로 인정하며 사랑을 통해 그리스도의 몸을 완성해 가는 삶, 자발적 참여와 개인 구원과 성령의 활동에 대한 통찰, 예배자들의 다양한 삶이 예배에 반영되어 나타난 사랑의 코이노니아, 그리고 교단의 교리(이성)와 개인의 개성과 경험(믿음)을 함께 아우르는 예배이다.
Abstract
This research is to confirm the elements that all christian worships ought to keep in the midst of radical changes in the modern church and to suggest a principle of worship which the next generational worships are seeking. The scope of this study is the early church worship which was the criterion of ecumenism in the twentieth century and the worship movements of postmodernism and post-postmodernism. The study of the early church worship opened the doors of the exclusive worship tradition of the denominations and showed the possibility of the unity of worship as koinonia as well as confirming them the diversity of the Christian worship. Jesus' double commandments of loving God, neighbor, and enemy opened the possibility of the unity of the Christian worship as koinonia, in spite of the diversity in formation and tradition of worship. In his analysis of the four types of worshipping communities in the early church, Hahn shows there were the warning of the danger of the heretic extremism, rigid ritualization, judaic legalism, secular liberalism and gives a fresh insight to rediscover the unity in koinonia through the spiritual worship in the daily life which holds Christ's love according to the activity of the Holy Spirit. The culture of the next generation worship can be divided into postmodern culture and post-postmodern culture. The postmodern worship is founded in the ecumenical movement which is followed by the movements of the worship book revision done in almost all denominations, the diverse modern worships, and the emergence of the narrative new homiletic. Since the 1980's the modern and dynamic worship has appeared in the names of blended worship, rainbow worship, and emerging worship among other types of worship, which help the worshippers who have been a passive audience to participate actively, providing different styles and content. The worship of post-postmodern culture seeks to temper reason with faith, that is, the experience of the congregation and the doctrine of the church. The phenomenon of these kinds of worship are found in many worship symposiums like Calvin Worship Symposium, post new homiletics, and small worshipping communities which seek to have the worship spirit of the early church, and the intergenerational worship. The next generational worship is not a constitutionalized worship which is based on a guide book or model, but will coexist with the post-postmodern worship according to the ways of life and the recognition of worship. The six principles of the worship unity of koinonia within diversity are as follows; keeping a balance between love of God and love of neighbor; worship in spirit and in truth that seeks to the future already begun in Jesus; worshippers who are establishing the body of Christ by loving and recognizing each other’s diverse talents as parts of the body of Christ; the insights of voluntary participation and personal salvation and the activity of the Holy Spirit; koinonia of love that the diverse lives of the worshippers appears to be reflected to worship; and the worship that tempers the doctrine of the church(reason) with the experience of the worshipers. The double commandments of both love of God and love of neighbor open the possibility of the unity of the Christian worship as koinonia in spite of the differences between diverse forms of worship and tradition.
