택견의 ‘제기차기’를 통해서 본한국전통춤의 하체움직임 효율성 연구

Abstract

So far, most studies on the Korean traditional dance have focused on dancing motions in view of its sociological and anthropological backgrounds, and there have been few studies pointing out the importance, the linkage or the error of dancing motions based on principles of motion. In fact, the Korean traditional dance is instructed through the apprentice education system with no logical understanding of the structure of correct motions, and thus, a master’s motions are learned with no critical mind, and wrong motions fail to be corrected systematically. This study is to correct errors of the lower body motion viewed in the Korean traditional dance (Cheoyong Dance and Mask Dance) so that the importance of the lower body motion may be more emphasized and features of a learned man contained in the masculine dance, which are disappearing, may be restored.
