Abstract
A Study on the Marketization of China's Economy with Special Reference to the Non-state-owned Enterprises Oh, Seung-yul Statistical data released by the Chinese government indicate a great progress of marketization in China's economy. Especially, the share of non-state-enterprises in GDP has been increased rapidly. Non-state-owned enterprises, nevertheless, is defined rather ambiguous manner. In fact, China's non-state-owned economy is situated in a transitional status. The status is characterized by the features such as distorted commodity and factors of production markets, backwardness of enterprises management, high dependency on government, financial frictions between central government and local governments, and imperfection of ownership reform, etc. Seemingly, marketization in China's economy is a rather slow process.
