Abstract
Teaching of Chinese developed quite a lot from the respect of its quantity in Korea, but now we meet the need of teaching quality. So establishing the discipline of teaching Chinese is our new task. First of all, we must have a consciousness about a discipline of teaching Chinese, because it has a strong relationship between pedagogical theory and practice of teaching Chinese. Secondly, the general frame of present major in teaching Chinese should be modified through undergraduate and graduate school. Establishing a discipline of teaching Chinese should consider some factors. Theoretical base means understanding about rules of every part of linguistic elements. Pedagogical theory includes curriculum, teaching method, contrastive analysis, error analysis, interlanguage hypothesis and language test etc.
