초록

In the internationally married families between Korea and Japan, they select and re-product the locality. They are looked to be able to deal with the locality freely in the transnational condition, but actually they can only select from two categories – ‘Korean’ or ‘Japanese.’In addition, they have to think about not only their preference but also the relationship with their relatives and the anxiety for discrimination when they select the locality. They constantly make the mixed locality originally to keep on living under such condition. Their practice can be called ‘the bricolage of locality,’ and this suggests the two points. One is that the selection is limited because of the social constraint. The other is that the people think culture has peculiar types by societies or areas. Culture isn’t fluid in their mind, and the stereotyped locality is recognized. Their participants tend to interfere in the internationally married family’s re-production of the locality more strongly in the transnational conditions.

Culture isn’t fluid in their mind, and the stereotyped locality is recognized.
