1960년대 한국 모더니즘시의 창작 방법 연구

Abstract

The objective of this study was to elucidate the new aspects and dynamics of the creation-methods of the korean modernist poetry in the 1960's. The modernist poets in this periods explicitly acknowledged that their attitudes to objects played a important role in their composition of poems. In relation to this, I especially focused on poet's attitudes to objects. In this study, I scrutinized poems composed by such poets as Kim Choon-soo, Moon Duk-soo, Kim Soo-young and etc., focusing on poet's attitude to objects. From this point of view, there were two types of poet's attitudes to objects in modernist poetry in the 1960's. One was the abstraction of objects, the other was the concretization of objects. Poets such as Kim Choon-soo, Moon Duk-soo abstracted objects in lingual or geometrical dimension. Though it placed the limits on the concrete and real life, abstraction, especially lingual abstraction was the most important method in composing poems. In comparison with this, Kim Soo-young and Song Ook's poems concretized objects in the context of real life. To him, concretization of objects in the context of real life was the true method which they could attain poetic modernity by. His poems, thus. showed the possibility of 'avant-garde' In conclusion, Although it had its limits to a certain extent by dividing poet's attitudes to objects into 'abstraction' and 'concretization', the modernist poetry in the 1960's really made great contributions to the korea contemporary poetry in the creation-methods of poetry. Based on this excellent results in the creation-methods of the korean modernist poetry in the 1960's, the korean modernist poets could pay more attentions to the importance of creation-method in composing poems since then.
