혈액투석환자의 영양상태, 피로, 수면의 질 및 우울간의 관계

The Relationship among Nutritional Status, Fatigue, Quality of Sleep and Depression in Hemodialysis Patients

초록

Purpose: This study was to identify the relationships between nutritional status, fatigue, quality of sleep, and depression of the patients in hemodialysis. Methods: The participants were 200 patients in hemodialysis 2 to 3 times a week regularly with chronic renal failure in hemodialysis center of hospital, older than 18 years old. Data were collected from April to July, 2013. Data were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 20.0 program. Results: Exercise, insomnia, and level of appetite showed statistically significant differences in nutritional status, fatigue, quality of sleep, and depression in common. Depression had statistically significant positive correlation with nutritional status(r=.37, p<.001), fatigue(r=.56, p<.001), and quality of sleep(r=.50, p<.001), quality of sleep had statistically significant positive correlation with nutritional status(r=.21, p=.003) and fatigue(r=.46, p<.001), and fatigue had statistically significant positive correlation with nutritional status(r=.50, p<.001) of the patients in hemodialysis. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest necessity of careful assessment on exercise, insomnia, and level of appetite in care plan and nursing intervention for nutritional status, fatigue, quality of sleep, and depression of the older patients in hemodialysis.

Abstract
