Abstract
This minipaper offers a formula which is dual to that ofViskov cite{vis}. While Viskov's can be thought ofas a rising formula for Laguerre polynomials, ours is preciselythe lowering one. Besides documenting the formula, which seems tobe missing, we want to provide a (rather elementary) operatortheory argument instead of making crude calculations. In otherwords, the annihilation and creation operators areconfronted with lowering and rising {it formulae}; they are oftenfailed to be distinguished.
