여성주의적 예배서 『새 하늘과 새 땅을 여는 예배』에 대한 예배학적 고찰

새 하늘과 새 땅을 여는 예배의 분석을 통하여 알아본 여성주의적 예배는 목적지향적인 예배이다. 여성주의적 예배는 여성들을 해방시키고 여성들에게 힘을 주고 나아가 계층, 인종, 능력의 차이, 나이 등으로 인해 주변화된 사람들 모두를 해방시키는 관계들을 의례화하는 것을 목표로 한다. 여성주의적 의례들은 여성들끼리 연대성을 강화하고, 개인들에게 힘을 실어주고, 여성들의 경험을 재해석하여 여성들로 하여금 긍정적인 자아상을 확립하는데 그 목적이 있다. 또한 오래된 남성중심의 의례들을 여성적 언어와 상징들을 통해 재구성하는 것이 여성주의적 의례에 있어서 중요한 표현양식이다. 이러한 여성주의적 의례들은 목적과 지향에 있어서 여성주의적 예배와 동일하다. 따라서 새 하늘 새 땅을 여는 예배의 여성주의적 예배 또한 여성주의적 의례의 범주에 속한 것으로 이해될 수 있다. 이 여성주의적 예배가 목적지향적인 것은 예배서의 예배이해가 정치적 예배 유형으로 분류됨으로써 더욱 분명해진다. 이 예배서에서 예배순서의 비중에 있어서나 주제 및 내용에 있어서 말씀선포가 매우 강조되고 있고, 선포의 내용이 교회비판적이고 사회비판적인 정보와 엮어져 있음을 알 수 있다. 그리고 성서 전통의 인간우호적인 복음과 비인간화된 관계에 대한 숨겨진 정보들을 대결시키고 있다. 또한 예배에서 다짐과 결단을 반복적으로 강조함으로써 사회비판적인 신앙을 다짐하고 사회비판적인 행동을 유발하려는 의도를 보인다. 따라서 이 예배서의 예배이해는 의도와 목적이 분명한 정치적 유형에 속한다. 이 여성예배는 그 분명한 목적지향성으로 인하여 여성주의적 예배의 예배 대상이 누구인가 하는 질문으로부터 자유롭지 못할 것이며, 한 집단의 목적을 위하여 예배를 수단화하였다는 비판을 피하기는 쉽지 않을 것이다. 여성주의적 의례가 아니라 그리스도교의 예배를 거행하는 공동체가 그리스도교의 예배로서의 정체성을 어떻게 여성주의적 예배를 통하여 구현할 것인가는 예배구성자들이 해결해야 할 커다란 과제이다.
Abstract
Feminist worships of the book of worship, Worship for A New Heaven & A New Earth intend to ritualize relationships that emancipate and empower women, and all those marginalized by class, race, differing abilities and age. Feminist rituals focus on several major themes such as solidarity of women, personal empowerment in general. And they reinterpret funda- mental female experiences in a way that contribute to positive self- images. Another important mode of feminist ritual expression is to rewrite an older, male-focused ceremony by using female language and images. Feminist worships of the book, Worship for A New Heaven & A New Earth are a kind of feminist ritual so that they have similarities in purpose and intention with feminist rituals. Feminist worships of this book belong to the type of political worship. The preaching takes a important place in these worships and its contents consist of information with critiques of patriarchal church community and society. Furthermore this feminist worships intend to worship participants to act what they during the worship hear and confess. Because of their strong intention and clear purpose, these feminist worships can be asked who is worshipped in the worship service. In addition, it is difficult to avoid the critiques that the worship as a instrument for the purpose of feminist community misuses. It will be a task in constructing feminist worships to seek for the christian identity.
