On weakly-Berwald spaces of special $(\a, \b)$-metrics

Abstract

We have two concepts of Douglas spaces and Lands-berg spaces as generalizations of Berwald spaces. S. Bacso gave thedenition of a weakly-Berwald space [2] as another generalizationof Berwald spaces. In the present paper, we nd the conditionsthat the Finsler space with an (;)-metric be a weakly-Berwaldspace and the Finsler spaces with some special (;)-metrics beweakly-Berwald spaces, respectively.
