비자살적 자해(Non-Suicidal Self-Injury: NSSI)에 대한 국내연구동향: 2000년부터 2019년까지

초록

본 연구의 목적은 국내 비자살적 자해 연구동향을 분석함으로써 연구의 시사점과 제언을 통해, 향후 자해연구 방향을 제시하고자 하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 2000년부터 2019년까지 국내에서 발표된 학위논문 33편, 학회지 논문 41편, 총 74편을 대상으로 분석준거에 따라 기초사항, 연구대상, 연구방법, 자해에 관련된 연구변인으로 분류하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 기초사항을 살펴 본 결과 2007년 1편의 연구를 시작으로 2015년부터 서서히 증가하다가 2019년 이후 16편으로 급증하는 추세이고 상담심리분야(68.9%)에서 많이 연구되었음이 확인되었다. 둘째, 연구대상과 연구장소에 대한 결과를 보면 주로 청소년과 대학생들 대상(62.2%)이 학교 등 교육기관(51.4%)을 통해 연구되어졌음을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 연구방법에서는 양적연구(73%)가 주를 이루었고 질적연구(10.8%)와 프로그램개발(2.7%) 등이 미비하게 이루어져 있다. 특히, 2019년에는 온라인 공간에서 데이터를 활용한 텍스트마이닝 분석의 양적연구 1편과 텍스트네트워크분석의 질적연구 1편이 연구되었다. 넷째, 양적연구와 프로그램 효과 변인을 살펴 본 결과 개인내적변인의 정서영역과 인지영역에서 연구가 많이 이루어졌으며, 사회․환경적 변인의 가족관련영역에서 연구가 많이 이루어졌음을 확인하였다. 다섯째, 질적연구의 주요결과를 분석하여 자해시작과 중단의 과정을 확인하였고, 여섯째, 개관연구를 확인함으로써 자해연구의 이해를 좀 더 넓히는 계기가 마련되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 끝으로 본 연구의 결과를 종합하여 논의하고 후속연구에 대한 제언을 제시하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the trends in Non-Suicidal Self-Injury (NSSI) research in Korea and to suggest future directions for self-injury research. To this end, a total of 74 papers published in Korea from 2000 to 2019 were analyzed. The results are as follows; Firstly, starting with one study in 2007, many studies were conducted in the field of counseling psychology (68.9%). Secondly, it was revealed that teenagers and college students (51.4%) comprised the majority of young people engaging in such behaviors. Thirdly, most the studies conducted were quantitative studies (73%). Fourthly, many studies were conducted in the emotional and cognitive field of individual internal variables and in the family related fields of social and environmental variation. Fifthly, an analysis of the main results of qualitative research confirmed the beginning and discontinuation process of the NSSI. Sixth, the analysis of the overviews broadened our understanding of self-harm. Finally, the results of this study were comprehensively discussed, and suggested for further research have been postulated.
